EMARS Final Conference Brussels 20th November 2008
EMARS held its final conference on the 20th of November  in Brussels The conference was  very kindly hosted by the European Commission as part of the International Product Safety Week.

The conference was well-attended with around 90 delegates including participants from China, the USA and New Zealand. Participants who came from all stakeholder groups heard about the results of the project. One of the deliverables is a strategy for the further enhancement of market surveillance in Europe. This strategy has formed the basis of the new project EMARS II which officially commenced on the first of November.

A full report of the conference will be published in a special edition of the newsletter. The final implementation report of the project will be published next year.
